Emergency care

We allocate appointments every day for dental emergencies, so please try to call us as early as possible and we will do our utmost to see you on the same day. If you require emergency treatment outside of our normal opening hours, please call us on 01302 726524 and listen to the recorded message which will provide information. Alternatively, you can access advice and treatment by dialling 111. This service is not provided by us but commissioned by NHS England.

Feedback and complaints

We work hard to provide a great dental service to our NHS and private patients and we hope you are always delighted with the dental care you receive from Stephen Emms Advanced Dental Care. We welcome constructive feedback, whether good or bad, and are always looking for ways to improve, so please let us know what you think of our service. You can do this by:

If you would like a written copy of our complaints procedure please contact the surgery.

We aim to respond to verbal complaints within 48 hours and written ones we acknowledge within three working days and respond within 21 working days. If you are still not happy and would like to take things further, our private patients can contact The Dental Complaints Services. Their website can be found at www.dcs.gdc-uk.org and here you will find an online form to fill in. Alternatively, they can be contacted by phone on 020 8253 0800. Our NHS patients should contact the Ombudsman on www.ombudsman.org.uk or 0845 015 4033.
